FIELD: test equipment, in particular, leak-proofness test of space equipment products, for instance, thermostatically controlled containers used for storage and transportation of food-stuffs. SUBSTANCE: the method of leak-proofness test of products consists in build-up of similar initial pressure in the process chambers around the product and standard by evacuation, equal gas flows are applied to these chambers continuing their evacuation and the rates of pressure rise in the chambers are detected by measurement of the time of attainment of the same pressure in the chambers; at an inequality of the rates a conclusion on product leakage is made.
