FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on determining nitrosoalkylureas of general formula RN(NO)-CO-NHR', where R is alkyl and R' is hydrogen, alkyl or cyclohexyl, which can be used in oncologic practice and selection chemical mutagenesis. Sample of material under analysis is placed into preliminarily prepared water- alcohol solution containing 20-30 wt % of sulfuric acid, dimethylglyoxime, and thiosemicarbazide. Resultant solution is heated and photometered in the absorption band with maximum at 527 nm. When dialkylnitrosoureas are determined, solution is heated for 10-15 min. EFFECT: increased sensitivity of analysis and stability of reaction product color. 2 cl, 4 tbl
