FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of determining content of troxerutin, dexpanthenol, benzocaine and methyl parahydroxybenzoate in a medical drug involves extraction of troxerutin, dexpanthenol, benzocaine and methyl parahydroxybenzoate from the analysed medical drug. The method also involves chrotographic extraction by high-performance liquid chromatography with separation on a C18 column measuring 50×2.0 mm, filled with a carrier with grain size of 2.0 mcm, or measuring 150×4.6 mm, filled with a carrier with grain size of 5.0 mcm, using as the mobile phases a mixture of 0.05% orthophosphoric acid solution with acetonitrile for chromatography in ratio of 90:10 to 95:5 (pH 2.4) and acetonitrile in a linear gradient mode on a chromatograph using a UV detector. Content of troxerutin, dexpanthenol, benzocaine and methyl parahydroxybenzoate in the medical drug is then determined using calculation formulae.

EFFECT: improved determination of content of troxerutin, dexpanthenol, benzocaine and methyl parahydroxybenzoate in a medical drug.
