FIELD: radioactive instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposition of object to pulse neutron flux, measurement of temporal change in delayed neutron flux which is issued by fission particles. Content of fission materials is judged by presence of specific constituent from fission particles with effective half-life period of 23±1 s. Exposition consists of pulses which duration is 30-60 s, time analysis for intensity of delayed neutrons is doe for delay time range from 10-15 to 70-100 s. EFFECT: detection of fission materials both distributed in environment and hidden in luggage or storehouses. 1 dwg
