FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has low frequency alternating current supply source and inductor solenoid connected to it. Low frequency alternating current to high frequency high voltage transformer is introduced into the device design. The transformer input is connected to additional winding of the inductor solenoid set coaxially and connected in series to the main winding. One device version has electric gas discharge unit filled with inert gas and placed in inductor solenoid cavity. The unit is connected to the transformer output and directed with its balloon vault towards its working end. The second device version has solenoid carcass provided with plugs placed so that cavity filled with inert gas is formed. Plug positioned on the same side with the working end is a plate manufactured from material that is transparent to light and has low value of electric strength. High voltage electrode is mounted in the cavity on the opposite side with respect to the light transparent plate. The third device version has solenoid carcass manufactured from material that is transparent to light and having cavity filled with inert gas. High voltage electrode is introduced into the cavity from the side of non-working end of the inductor unit. Balloon wall is thin on the working end side to enable crown discharge to arise. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of combined electric and magnetic treatment. 3 cl, 3 dwg
