FIELD: catalysts for industrial organic syntheses. SUBSTANCE: catalyst contains, wt.-%: chromium oxide, 9.0-12.0; sodium oxide, 0.7-1.7; boron oxide, 1.3-3.3; and aluminium oxide, the balance. When tested for 360 h with raw material space velocity 0.5 , temperature 625 C, pressure 6 MPa, and hydrogen to raw material molar ratio 3.4:1, catalyst provided higher conversion of alkylbenzenes (96.6-98.1%) than known ones (96.1-96.3%). In hydrocracking of non-aromatic hydrocarbons, catalyst also proved to be more efficient (93-95 against 86.4-90% conversion). Regarding coke formation, catalyst of invention considerably exceeds known catalysts (6.8 against 1.1- 1.5%), which fact is indicative of higher stability and longer operation intervals between regeneration steps.
