CARTRIDGE OF HOT STRIP COILER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: roller stock production; may be used in design of cartridge for hot strip coiler. SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes frame, two shaping rollers mounted in rocking supports and jointly connected with shock absorbers. Rocking supports are provided with cam cylindrical lugs engaging with cover plates on outer surface of bottom of movable sleeves of shock absorbers. Cam lugs are connected with tie rods of shock absorbers mounted in guide bushings of movable and stationary sleeves with radial clearance determined according to analytical relation. Damping members are mounted on end flanges of stationary sleeves of shock absorbers secured to frame. Bodies of bearings of shaping rollers are monolithic and have lateral slopes. Bodies are mounted in seats of rocking supports and secured to them by means of wedges. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 7 dwg
