FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vacuumizer, spray evaporator disposed within vacuumizer and vibratory pan positioned in axial alignment with spray evaporator, vibratory drive kinematically connected with vibratory pan and receiver. Apparatus is further provided with metal melting device, liquid metal charging device and liquid metal spraying device to obtain powder, with all devices being located in vacuumizer. Apparatus has at least two spray evaporators and vibratory pans formed as beaded flat disks and positioned for inclination in horizontal plane. Each previous vibratory pan in the course of process is positioned at the level above subsequent pan. Bead of each vibratory pan is provided with recess positioned adjacent to subsequent vibratory pan or receiver in the course of process. Recess is covered with gate mounted for rotation. Spray evaporators are made from different metals. Liquid metal spraying device may be made in the form of disk, drum or ultrasonic vibrator. Melting device may be formed as resistance or induction furnace. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of powder materials by low pyrophorosity of powder, compactness, provision for reducing dust outburst to zero at cyclic hydrogen absorption process and increased hydrogen absorption rate. 5 cl, 2 dwg
