FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for applying a metal coating on aluminosilicate hollow microspheres by magnetron sputtering and a method for applying a metal coating using said device. Above device contains the following elements: vacuum chamber, located in it electrode with possibility of use in the form of cathode, vibration mixer-holder of the above microspheres, containing vibration drive and metal membrane, as well as protective grid. Protective mesh for protection against dispersion of the above microspheres is installed between the cathode and the above membrane. Vacuum chamber is grounded. Said electrode is equipped with magnets and additionally installed screen for localization of discharge burning region. Vibration agitator-holder is configured to create a pseudo-boiling layer of said microspheres. Said method comprises the following steps: preliminary washing of said microspheres with addition of acids or salts to the solution for sensitization and activation of the material; placement of aluminosilicate hollow microspheres on a metal membrane of a vibration mixer-holder; creation of a fluidized bed from the said microspheres and metal coating of the said microspheres by magnetron sputtering using the said device.

EFFECT: simpler implementation of magnetron sputtering for coating an aluminosilicate hollow microsphere.
