FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of introducing rod blank into spraying chamber filled with inert gas; melting end of rod blank by means of movable plasma burner in such a way that melt metal falls on intermediate metering preheater arranged coaxially over centrifugal spraying disc; accumulating melt metal in metering preheater, heating it up to temperature of complete melting of refractory compounds fed on centrifugal spraying disc rotating with high revolution number. Drops of liquid metal from spraying disc strike cooling screen. Reflected pellets are additionally cooled by means of gas-liquid medium and they are fed to pellet accumulator. The last is in the form of irregular truncated cone having in inclined wall opening for passing drive unit of spraying disc and opening for removing pellets; in its low base vacuum sealing is arranged. Annular sprayers for spraying cooling fluid are placed along inner surface of pellet accumulator.
