FIELD: railway car truck control system. SUBSTANCE: truck has two side frames with supporting jaws and truck beam for connecting two side frames. Insert is adapted to be located between heel of side frame supporting jaw and box journal top or coupling on truck. Insert minimizes side deformation causing compression due to lifting motions transmitted to insert by braking and swinging of railway car. Usage of auxiliary layers, making of special recesses in elastomeric material, nonuniform thickness of elastomeric material and high coefficient of elastomeric layer form allow side deformation resulting in compression to be reduced.
