FIELD: railway transport; car bogies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rail car bogie 10 has two sides 14 and bar 12. Each side is provided with axle-box hole on each end designed to receive bearing adapter unit. Said unit contains steel cast bearing adapter 30 installed on upper part of bearing unit. Adapter pad 32 made of elastomer of preset hardness is mounted on upper part of bearing adapter. Projections from adapter pad get into cavities in bearing adapter. Each pad of adapter is provided with wear indicating lugs lying in side direction outwards from upper section of adapter pad.
EFFECT: provision of longitudinal stability of adapter pad on bearing adapter and indication of wear.
