FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: freight car bogie comprises two lateral frames and bolster, bearing adapter and adapter pad. Each lateral frame has axle box cutout on every end. Each axle box cutout is formed by axle box cutout outer lateral wall, inner lateral vertical wall and dome section arranged between axle box outer wall and vertical wall. Bearing adapter is fitted in each axle box cutout. Each bearing adapter comprises rectangular central section with top surface and lateral end sections, each being provided with curved opening to receive bearing and end sections running in lengthwise direction. Each end section has rectangular opening formed by adapter face lateral wall and two laterally shifted adapter shoulders. Adapter pad is mounted atop bearing adapter. Adapter pad comprises base section, rectangular top section extending laterally though greater width than that of adapter pad base section and longitudinally thorough smaller length than that of adapter pad base section, two pairs of feet running from each lengthwise end of adapter pad, and pair of feet on each longitudinal end of adapter pad. Adapter pad feet enters said rectangular opening at each adapter longitudinal end. Adapter pad extending top section runs upward from adapter pad base section through distance sufficient for control over car bogie. Feet bottom sections run longitudinally from adapter shoulders to engage with complementary surfaces on axle box opening. Note here that said sections stay at distance sufficient to control side frame roll.
