FIELD: processing of boron silicate raw materials. SUBSTANCE: boron silicate raw materials are calcined and decomposed at pH 10.6-11.6. Insoluble residue is separated of solution and thus prepared hot solution is affected by carbonization to pH 10.0-8.0 to isolate commercial sodium boron silicate. The latter product comprises 80-40 mass % of SiO2, 5-20 mass % of B2O3, 2-20 mass % of Na2O and H2O. Then said solution is cooled and is fed for further crystallization. EFFECT: decreased waste of raw materials, improved efficiency. 3 tbl
