FIELD: hydrometallurgy of vanadium, in particular, methods of separation of vanadium from solutions of its salts. SUBSTANCE: solution is heated, and precipitation of vanadium is attained in the presence of precipitate of vanadium oxide with solid-to-liquid phases ratio of 1:1. Solution is acidified up to pH 0.9-1.6 and passed in counterflow with respect to precipitate from below upward at speed of 0.2-10.0 l/h per square centimeter of layer cross-section. Vanadium precipitation is carried out at temperature of 101-110 C in nonautoclave conditions. EFFECT: improved quality of product.
