FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at providing control of intensity of concrete mix hardening process when packet of freshly shaped concrete parts is passing through aging zone in a single- or multiple-row tunnel-type steam-curing chambers and increasing uniformity in gas-vapor mixture temperature distribution along the height of aging zone of steam-curing chamber. It is proposed to pass steam along packet of parts when transported through tunnel-type steam-curing chamber and, during the packet stopping period, additionally and directionally pass steam through packet of parts by way of creating local zone of excessive pressure above the packet. EFFECT: improved process control and optimized parameters of process.
