FIELD: preparation of synthetic rubber. SUBSTANCE: preparation of butadiene-styrene rubber is accomplished by preparation of blend from butadiene-styrene copolymers in hydrocarbon solvent, copolymerization is carried out in several reactors in the presence of catalyst such as organolithium compound and cocatalyst such as organopotassium compound. The blend is divided into two streams and fed into parallel arranged reactors in which polymerization temperature differential varies from 10 to 35 C. The reaction streams are then combined and directed to cascade of successively arranged reactors. The claimed process also comprises stabilization degassing and drying of rubber. Cocatalyst may be added to hydrocarbon solvent or in admixture with toluene, the toluene content being not higher than 5 wt %. Combination agent may be added to polymer solution in copolymerization reaction. The whole is continuously stirred at agitator rotation speed of 250-1500 rpm.
