SUBSTANCE: petroleum fractions are subjected to hydrofining consisting in that raw material, at elevated temperature and pressure, is brought in contact with catalyst containing, wt.-%: nickel oxide, 2.5-4.0; molybdenum oxide, 8.0-11.0; phosphorus oxide, 0.5-1.3; and boron oxide, 0.3-1.0; and preliminarily treated successively with elemental sulfur in amount 1.0-2.5% on catalyst weight and sulfur-containing gas at 150-250 C.
