FIELD: catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydrogenation catalyst for highly aromatised middle-distillate petroleum raw materials, containing active components - compounds of molybdenum, nickel, and phosphorus dispersed in a carrier, and obtained by sulphidation of the composition containing in a total amount relative to the oxides in the calcined catalyst, wt.%: 18.4 to 29.0 - molybdenum oxide MoO3, 3.6 to 5.9 - nickel oxide NiO, 1.6 to 2.8 - phosphorus oxide R2O5, the carrier - the rest, at a molar ratio of phosphorus/molybdenum P/Mo to 0.18 to 0.20, wherein the carrier constitutes aluminium oxide modified with phosphorus pentoxide. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the above catalyst, including preparation of a carrier and impregnation thereof with a solution of active components, wherein the carrier is prepared by mixing pseudobemite obtained by the aluminate-nitrate method and pseudobemite obtained by thermal activation of hydrargallite, in a ratio of 1.0:2.0 wt.% absolute dry matter (a.d.m.), the resulting mixture is then treated with solutions of nitric, orthophosphoric and malic acids, followed by forming the mixture into granules, calcining, and impregnating with solutions of the active components, wherein the solution is prepared by subsequent dissolution of citric acid, basic nickel carbonate, orthophosphoric acid, molybdenum acid, and diethyleneglycol in distilled water at a molar ratio of citric acid/nickel LC/Ni of 0.4 to 0.5, diethylene glycol/nickel DEG/Ni of 1.4 to 1.6, followed by sulphidation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in producing a hydrogenation catalyst for highly aromatised middle-distillate petroleum raw materials, providing, at a pressure of at least 4 MPa, deep hydrogenation and desulphurisation of the mixed raw materials containing no less than 40% secondary distillates to a residual content of sulphur of less than 10 mg/kg, while providing a possibility, at a pressure of at least 15 MPa, to process raw materials the proportion of gas oils of secondary thermal and thermocatalytic processes wherein reaches 100 wt.%, with a hydrogenation depth of no less than 80%, and at a pressure of no less than 20 MPa, to obtain a diesel fraction with a residual content of aromatic hydrocarbons of less than 5 wt.%
