FIELD: hydrometallurgical treatment of sulfide copper-zinc materials, more particularly processes for recovering greater amount of copper and sine into commercial products avoiding ecologically unfavorable production. SUBSTANCE: process comprises subjecting ground sulfide copper-zinc materials to autoclave oxidative leaching at hydrogen pressure, adding chloride ions to the pulp being treated in amount of 2-4 g/l and at temperature of 120-180 C subsequently separating the leached pulp into solution and cake and selectively recovering copper and zinc from solution into commercial products. EFFECT: more efficient treatment process. 1 tbl
