FIELD: electrolytic production of aluminium. SUBSTANCE: housing contains bulkheads interconnected through linking members; inside-lined box with longitudinal windows to lead out cathode rods, end walls, and bottom; and stiffening rings of end walls connected with extreme bulkheads. Invention is distinguished with that bulkheads, box walls and stiffing rings of end walls are made split with split place position within the height of windows to lead out cathode rods, end walls are connected with stiffening rings, and, as members connecting bulkheads, longitudinal walls and bottom are used. In addition, on split places of bulkheads, there are means installed ensuring rigid bonding of upper and lower parts of bulkheads. EFFECT: prolonged service life, reduced major repair effort and its duration. 4 cl, 3 dwg
