FIELD: mechanical engineering; parts of machines and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: nail has rod with slot forming expanding section located at side of front end of nail and made in form of two convex expanding knees. Front end of rod, as far as expanding knees, is made straight-line with diameter corresponding to rod diameter. Slot is horizontal cut whose length exceeds summary length of expanding knee and straight line front end of rod. Expanding knees can be made symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of rod with smooth transfer into straight-line sections of rod. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 9 cl, 5 dwg
