FIELD: nuclear power engineering; safety systems of VVer reactors. SUBSTANCE: coolant pressure drop across main circulating pump, feed rate of the latter, coolant temperature in cold lines of primary circuit, and primary coolant pressure, pressure drop across reactor, pressure drop across steam generator, coolant temperature in hot lines of primary circuit are measured under several steady state operating conditions of reactor plant with different number of operating loops by means of standard measuring channels of VVER reactor safety system; pressure drop coefficients for primary circuit sections are specified more accurately; measurements are made as many times and for as many conditions of reactor plant as required to ensure desired accuracy of coefficients measurement.
