FIELD: methods of purification of chrome solutions from contaminating ions of metals by electrodialysis in electrodialyzer with cation-exchanger membrane; applicable for purification of highly concentrated chrome solutions for their repeated use. SUBSTANCE: the offered method consists in purification of chrome solution from contaminating ions of metals by electrodialysis in electrodialyzer with cation-exchange membrane and is effected successively for removal of each contaminating ion on pulse current with frequency resonant for removed ion and relative pulse duration of 2 to 5 s. EFFECT: higher selectivity and purification efficiency of highly concentrated chrome solutions from contaminating ions of metals with preservation of concentration of chrome acid with the aim of repeated use in the process, increased purification rate and simplified process. 2 tbl
