FIELD: metal coatings. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns chromium-aluminum alloy coatings to protect surfaces of objects against corrosion and wear. Electrolyte contains 200-300 g/l of chromic anhydride, 40-60 g/l of aluminum sulfate hydrate, and 5-8 g/l of alpha-pinene. EFFECT: increased micro-hardness of coatings, reduced power consumption for electrodeposition process, and facilitated waste water treatment. 1 tbl
