FIELD: processing of dispersed metal wastes, chips and thin wire. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes sintering and melting in capsule in shell of graining loose material. In this case, temperature difference is provided from bottom over capsule height, below and above melting temperature of metals. When loading metal wastes, provision is made of increases of density from bottom upward over capsule height and introduced additionally into grainy material is graphite. Wastes are densified by preliminary pressing into briquettes of different density at different pressing forces. Besides, difference in density of wastes over capsule height is attained by introduction into dispersed metal wastes of lumpy scrap and also by layer arrangement over height of capsule of different fractions of metal wastes after their screening. Method deals with processing of wastes of one metal and also wastes of different metals. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
