FIELD: machining. SUBSTANCE: part is set in cams of the turner chuck at a distance of 3-5 mm from the plane of the cams. The part is clamped and stop 4 is moved to the part so that a distance between the stop and the center of the part should be a maximum. The turner is set in rotation with a speed of 500-800 rev/min. Stop 4 is then fed to the rotating part. Being at a high speed the projection portion of the part strikes the stop and moves into the chuck. After alignment the part is clamped in the chuck.
