FIELD: preparation of sulfocationites. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes stage of hydration of cation-exchange resins after sulfonation stage to remove sulfuric acid from suspensions containing sulfuric acid and sulfonated cationites. Sulfuric acid solutions with decreasing concentration of 45-60% and then solutions the concentration of each subsequent solution being by 12-18% lower to the previous solution, are passed through stationary layer of sulfonated styrene-divinyl benzene copolymer. EFFECT: accelerated hydration process and reduced amount of waste. 1 tbl
