FIELD: electrolytic production of aluminum in Soderberg electrolyzers. SUBSTANCE: the offered method of point feed of electrolyzer includes system of raw material feed into melt on mechanisms of reciprocation and vibration. Interval of reciprocation of working member ranges within 20-120 s, preferably, 60-100 s. Working member is subjected to vibration with amplitude of 1-5 mm, preferably, 2-4.5 mm. In so doing, vibrations of working member are modulated with vibrations having frequency of 0.5-10 Hz and amplitude up to 15 mm. Material before feed into melt is heated in flow in vibrofluidizer state. Time of action of working member in lower point of its translation is set up to 90% of time of reciprocation cycle. Points of feed of electrolyzer operate on replacement principle, and break introduced into operation of vibrator. EFFECT: reduced power consumption in point introduction of loose material into electrolyte and higher reliability of the offered method whose elements taking in consideration of varying physical state of feed points. 5 cl
