FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: welded grooved pile has body and locks made of angle sections welded to pile body by edge of one of its flanges. One of flanges of angle section of each lock is made curved in direction towards other flange with creation of clearance between flanges of variable width in lateral cross-section. According to method, during manufacture of pile, bending of flange is exercised prior to welding or upon welding edges of one of flanges of angle sections to surface of pile body.
