FIELD: measurement of level of liquid. SUBSTANCE: float level indicator includes dielectric tube housing acoustic line made from material with indicated magneto-elastic effect. Measurement winding is wound on acoustic line. Upper part of acoustic line carries radiator connected to generator of secondary electronic unit. Leads of measurement winding are connected to given unit. Float with magnetic system placed inside it moves along dielectric tube. In compliance with one version magnetic system is manufactured in the form of circular flat permanent magnet and n U-shaped rod permanent magnets uniformly positioned around acoustic line. In agreement with another version magnetic system is fabricated in the form of two flat circular permanent magnets mounted with gap relative to each other. Permanent magnets face one another with like poles. EFFECT: improved operational reliability. 6 cl, 5 dwg
