FIELD: measurement of parameters of elastic vibrations in well, sea and ground seismic exploration. SUBSTANCE: the geophone uses hollow cylindrical casing 1 hermetically closed from the ends by covers 2, piezoelectric elements 3 installed on the covers inside the casing, and cylindrical inertial mass 4 placed between the piezoelectric elements. The piezoelectric elements are made in the form of prestrained spheres squeezed by the covers and installed in special seats 5 on the covers. The seats of the upper and lower covers are arranged and oriented symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis so that each upper piezoelectric element has a mate lower piezoelectric element vertically aligned with it. The inertial mass on the ends has the shape of truncated cone 6, whose generating surface is engageable with the piezoelectric elements, and the covers are furnished with stops 7 restricting axial displacements of the inertial mass. The external current-conducting plates of all piezoelectric elements are grounded, and the internal ones have access holes for connection of the mate piezoelectric elements to the input of the differential amplifiers. The geophone casing is made of non-magnetic material and has bore 8 from the outside, in which the turns of winding 9 are placed, they are insulated by sealant 10. The main larger section of the winding is periodically connected to an AC source of the preset frequency and strength, and the other smaller section is permanently connected to a weak-current high-frequency generator.
