FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: log frame comprises a frame, a crankshaft (1), the cranks (2), a connecting rod (3), a saw frame (4) with saws, the upper (5) and the lower (6) cross bars of the saw frame, which are mounted on the middle levers (7) of four-link straight-line generating mechanism of Watt. The medium levers are pivotally connected to the extreme front (8) and rear (9) levers of the upper and lower mechanisms of Watt. To perform tilting of the saw frame in the horizontal direction the eccentric (10) is used, which is mounted on the lower intermediate shaft (11) and is pivotally connected to one of the ends of the extreme rear levers of the mechanism of Watt. The lower intermediate shaft is kinematically connected by chain transmission (12) with the crankshaft with a gear ratio of 2:1. The upper rear levers are kinematically connected to the lower intermediate shaft with transmission chain (13) which transmits the rotation to the intermediate shaft (14). On the intermediate shaft the eccentrics (15) are mounted, which is pivotally connected to the upper rear levers of the mechanism of Watt. When the saw frame is located at the beginning of the stroke, the eccentricity of the eccentric occupies the extreme lower position, and the rotation of the eccentric is directed against the velocity vector of feeding and coincides with the direction of rotation of the crankshaft of the drive of the saw frame.
EFFECT: simplified design of the log frame, increased accuracy of synchronization of mechanisms of cutting and feeding.
