FIELD: transportation of various objects. SUBSTANCE: transportation system has base, bypass blocks, drive, endless flexible traction member. Mounted on moving object are two parallel stepped pulleys with steps of the same diameter. The pulleys are installed with steps of larger diameter directed to the same side. Flexible member is reeved so that its parts between bypass blocks are passed around steps of the same diameter of each pulley by not less than one turn. Reversible drive is installed either stationary on axle and is rigidly coupled with axle of bypass blocks or is mounted on moving object and is rigidly secured to one of pulleys. Placed on pulleys over turns of traction member are endless pressure belts. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
