SHEET METAL PACKING SET Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; metal rolling. SUBSTANCE: sheet metal packing set has carry-over tables 1, movable roller section 2 mounted on carriage for travelling square to table 1 along guides under action of DC motor. Table 1 carries cross banding mechanism 8 with stationary mechanical repeater 27 enclosing the table, plane of repeater being square to table 1. Longitudinal banding mechanism 9 is mounted parallel to table 1 opposite to movable roller section 2 and is provided with mechanical repeater made with detachable lower portion. Upper portion of mechanical repeater is installed stationary, plane of repeater being square to guides. Lower detachable part of repeater is made in form of several beams corresponding to number of bandings and installed in ring grooves made on rollers of movable roller section 2 and rigidly secured on carriage. Carriage has mechanism providing butt joining of beams with upper portion of mechanical repeater and including two non-contact pickups. EFFECT: facilitated packing of sheet metal. 5 dwg
