FIELD: glass fibers. SUBSTANCE: mat includes fiber glass used, in particular, for manufacturing shaped insulation products having amorphous aluminium phosphate polymer on its surface, said polymer resiliently joining glass fibers with each other in such a way as to provide restoration of shape after fibers were deformed, for example, because of compression applied. Fiber glass may also retain shape of insulation body. Method of manufacturing fiber glass products is described wherein glass fibers contact with ionic polymer which is subsequently dehydrated to form amorphous non-hygroscopic polymer. EFFECT: improved manufacturing process. 11 cl, 2 dwg , 3 tbl
