FIELD: blasting operations in construction. SUBSTANCE: drilling of blast-holes in the planes of separation, placement of divided or extended explosive charges in them, tamping of stemming into part of the blast-holes at their entrance, wiring of the blasting network and subsequent blasting. The mass of the charges in the blast-hole depends on the dimensions of the slot and material strength and is calculated by formula: Q = 0,004B²•R^1,4•H. The distance between the blast-holes and between the divided charges in blast-holes equals a= B, where Q - mass of charges, kg; B and M - design width and depth of the slot, respectively, m; R - compressive strength of concrete of building structures, MPa.
