FIELD: neurosurgery. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for temporary immobilization of injured segment of backbone in cases of overturning form of open dislocation or fracture-dislocation of various etiology when backbone distractor is used in the operational process. Immobilizing device makes it possible to provide temporary immobilization and restricted retraction in order to decrease traumatism, reduce operation time, and preserve one backbone body. Device of invention, designed as auxiliary means, contains carrying members 1,2, on end parts of which working stopping members 3 and adjustable screw stop 6 are installed.
