FIELD: medicine, traumatology and orthopedics in particular.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to stabilize the spine in uncomplicated explosive fractures of the lumbar vertebrae. The method includes the installation of hook-stops under the arches of the vertebrae on both sides of the spinous processes, the connection of the hook-stops with the rods of the distractors and the distraction of the spine. To fix the spine, two transpedicular fixation systems are used, the screws of each of which are inserted into the legs of the arches in the adjacent vertebrae and in the damaged vertebrae through the Roy-Camille point. In this case, one transpedicular fixation system is made in the form of a distractor, and the other in the form of a contractor. The hooks of each of them are installed on the arches of adjacent intact vertebrae inside from the points of insertion of the transpedicular rods on two sides: on one side, supralaminar for the arch of the overlying vertebra from the damaged vertebra and intralaminar for the arch of the underlying vertebra from the damaged vertebra, and on the opposite side intralaminar for the arch of the overlying vertebra from the damaged vertebra and supralaminar for the arch of the underlying vertebra from the damaged vertebra.
EFFECT: method provides reduction in the frequency of complications and the development of proximal transitional kyphosis, a fracture above the level of fixation, reduces the load on the fixing system, provides early recovery of sufferers due to the fixation of the spine with two transpedicular fixation systems.
