FIELD: mechanical engineering, design of presses forming briquettes, predominantly manufacturing bricks by dry-press process. SUBSTANCE: lever press for formation of articles from powder materials has rotor made in the form of hollow cylinder with moulds positioned radially for forced movement, riggings positioned in them which can turn by portions with registration, mechanism for movement of pressing and pushing members coupled to drive. Press rigging is manufactured in the form of pressing and pushing plungers connected via rhomb-lever mechanism to pair of sliders moving in opposite-diverging directions. Turning mechanism can be fabricated in the form of lever engaged with rotor. Arm fixing position of rotor and device to engage lever with rotor can be made in the form of spring-loaded pins which thrust faces are inclined to axis of pins by angle exceeding angle of friction of pin against wall of socket.
