FIELD: mechanical engineering, presses forming briquettes, specifically manufacturing bricks by dry-press process. SUBSTANCE: lever press for formation of articles from powder materials has rotor with moulds placed radially. Opposite-diverging movement of pressing, loading or pushing riggings in mutually perpendicular directions is provided by lever mechanism in which opposite movement of plungers of forward and opposite pressing is ensured thanks to their attachment to various joints of three-joint members of rhomb-like lever mechanism or to connection of plungers of forward pressing with plunders of opposite pressing in other moulds. Additional rhomb-like lever mechanism for translation of hollow-core forming mandrels located in main rhomb-like lever mechanism provides for formation of articles with free spaces. Connection of pushing or loading plungers with mechanism of opposite-diverging movement for their mutual limited movement makes it possible to diminish dimensions of press and capacity of motor.
