FIELD: production of bricks. SUBSTANCE: six versions of presses with one or two rhomb-shaped lever mechanisms providing double-sided pressing are described. Drive formed as hydraulic cylinder is used in four versions of press. Press of the sixth version has carcass 63 and rotor 64 mounted within carcass for rotation with retaining capabilities. Rotor is formed as hollow cylinder with radially extending molding dies 65. Four openings 64 are made in inner part of rotor 64 for receiving pressing plungers 67 and ejecting plungers 68, which are movable in mutually perpendicular directions into molding dies 65 axially aligned with these openings. Pivot units in the form of beams 69 are fixed to inner ends of pressing plungers 67. Ejecting plungers 68 are secured to pivot units 70. End portions of beams 69 are pivotally connected to pivot units 70 through rigid tie-rods 71 to form rhomb-shaped lever mechanism, with space between toe-rod and beam joint site exceeds that between pivot units 70, to which are secured body and rod of hydraulic cylinder piston. Devices 73 for metered supplying of molding mixture into a succession of molding dies 65 are disposed at outer side of rotor between ejection and pressing positions. Support plates 75 are mounted on carcass 63 in the vicinity of pressing positions in axial alignment with pressing plungers 67. Molding dies 65 are mounted in rotor 64 for displacement in radial direction and are spring-biased by return members 76.
