FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: water-jet propeller is made in form of submersible electric motor-propeller which has stator arranged in protective capsule, streamlined nozzle with stator capsule positioned in it, propeller on whose ends ferrule with electric motor rotor is secured and propeller shaft mounted inside stator capsule on supports. Protective capsule of electric motor stator is mounted inside circular recess in spaced relation which is provided in streamlined nozzle. Protective capsule is secured by means of circular flexible hermetic envelopes arranged in the clearance flush with streamlined surface of capsule and nozzle; volume of clearance enclosed in these envelopes (between capsule and nozzle) is brought in communication with compressed air source which is made in form of reservoir provided with separating adjusting diaphragm. Volume separated by diaphragm from compressed air chamber is brought in communication with surrounding water by means of passage. EFFECT: reduction of noise and vibration transmitted to ship's hull from operating propeller. 2 cl, 1 dwg
