FIELD: materials handling facilities; conveyors. SUBSTANCE: projection-belt conveyor has drive and idle drums, shaped belt with projections on idle side engaging with recesses of drive drum preventing slipping of belt, and reversible controlled electric drive. Design peculiarity of conveyor is provision of gearless reversible controlled electric drive which makes it possible to adjust conveyor capacity (speed of belt motion), change direction of electric drive rotation (reversing) which, in its turn, provides reversing of belt motion which is of great importance as permits loading of material, for instance, coal, into train cars (or on conveyors) located in two different workings, for instance, drifts. EFFECT: increased capacity of mines by organizing flexible delivery of coal, reduced labour input, increased economy. 2 cl, 1 dwg
