SUBSTANCE: cradle elevator has pulling member with hinge-connected cradles, driving and idle drums and electric drive. Pulling member is made in form of shaped belt with projections on idle side engaging with cavities on driving and idle drums. Electric drive is made reversible adjustable, for instance, thyristor type. Electric drive is directly connected with shaft on which driving drum is mounted.
