FIELD: carbon ceramics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing carbon ceramic constructional materials suitable to manufacturing capsules and heaters in metallurgy, parts of high-vacuum devices in electronics and other areas. Objective of invention is to optimize process parameters in production of coke-pitch composition by way of preliminarily preparing compositions and forming specimens beyond production process, specimens being formed by a group containing specimens with predetermined disintegration degree and/or components' ratio. Characteristics of specimens are estimated from self-adhesion capability value, additionally revealing, in specimen group, a specimen with maximum self-adhesion capability value. Disintegration degree and components' ratio of this specimen are admitted as optimal process parameters, and production process is further performed in accord with these parameters. Self-adhesion capability is determined from tensile strength of a pressed composition specimen. EFFECT: optimized process parameters. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
