FIELD: crystal growing. SUBSTANCE: device for growing monocrystals by vacuum horizontal directed crystallization technique containing crystallization chamber with heater installed therein, heater voltage control system, crystallization chamber evacuation system with control unit, and water cooling system is supplemented with temperature and cooling water intake control units. Outputs of evacuation system and water temperature control units and one of the outputs of water intake control units are connected with corresponding inputs of heater voltage control system, whereas other output of water intake control unit is connected to input of evacuation system control unit. Distinguishing feature of invention also consists in that water cooling system is constructed in the form of independently regulated crystallization chamber cooling circuits wherein each circuit is provided with temperature and water intake control units. The best result is achieved when water cooling circuit of heater voltage control system is made in the form of at least two independent pathways. EFFECT: increased automation of operation of device and decreased cooling water intake. 3 cl, 1 dwg
