FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power plant cavities are evacuated by means of vacuum system to static pressure of 10-2 to 10-3 Pa. Upon attaining mentioned pressure, cavities are filled with cesium vapors until pressure of 400 to 600 Pa is attained; then these vapors are discharged to vacuum system by condensation upon holding them in cavities 1-2 h. Pressure obtained is compared with initial value and process is repeated until these pressures are equalized. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
