TRAINING APPARATUS FOR PRACTICING ANIMAL FUZZ COMBING OUT SKILL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, training of specialists in combing out of animal fuzz. SUBSTANCE: training apparatus has three-dimensional animal model 1 with sensors 2 for controlling technical and technological parameters, in particular, pressing force and sequence of passes of comb imitator 11 and regulation and control system having power unit 3, permission unit 4, comparison unit 7, summer 8, multichannel educational program selection unit 9 and indication unit 10. Apparatus is further provided with animal model limbs position sensors 22,25, cable-and-pulley mechanism 20 for lifting cranial part of model, rotary rear limb retainer 25 and movable front limb support 24. Proper penetration of active part of teeth of comb imitator into animal fur of model and controlling of force applied by students are controlled by inertia and strain-measuring sensors 12,13 mounted on teeth of comb imitator and in base 16 of comb imitator and by adjustable protective device 27. When device 27 is worn, all systems of training apparatus are switched off. Repeating of educational cycle is permitted only upon delivery of permitting signal by unit 4. When measuring and indicating systems are removed from apparatus, it may be used as animal combing device satisfying with all performance requirements.
