FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: vascular shunt is a tubular body formed by braiding of thread of bioresorbable polymeric fiber such as the fiber of polylactic acid, polyglycolic acid or polylactic acid-polyglycolic acid copolymer. When introduced and fastened by means of a catheter inside the vessel connected to a flask, the tubular organ may pressure its shape for several weeks-several mouths after fastening and after that it disappears, being absorbed into alive tissue. Thus, the vessel does not remain in the alive body as a foreign substance, it does not cause any inflammation or hypertrophy in the vessel.
